BEK COMMUNICATIONS Lightband Internet Service – BEK Communications doubled its customer’s internet speeds at no charge in preparation for the long-term likelihood of distance learning for K-12 and increasing work-from-home demands. BEK also committed to providing Lightband internet service free-of-charge for four months to those living within its service area who were not current subscribers. It implemented a “no late fees or disconnections” policy due to economic hardships to ensure our customers stay connected and is giving its digital television service subscribers a free month of premium channels from March 27-April 27. BEK is providing lunch from more than 30 local restaurants for its employees during April allowing employees to meet customer needs while providing support to local businesses. BEK TV – BEK is providing free broadcasts of weekly local church services and daily press conferences by Governor Burgum and White House Coronavirus Task Force Daily Press Briefings statewide.
