Bismarck, Oct. 1, 2025 - This year’s annual CyberCon event hosted by Bismarck State College in their Advanced Technology Center featured the 2025 TechND Technology Awards ceremony, which saw Kayla Pulvermacher honored as North Dakota’s 2025 “Technology Champion.”

TechND President Tony Ambrose remarked when presenting the award that “Kayla has spent what seems like her whole career championing technology in one way or another;” continuing by noting a span “from her beginnings in finance and agriculture, holding executive positions helping to build infrastructure in non-profit and private sectors, modernizing organizational workflow for developing clear direction regarding policy and advocacy during legislative sessions, her involvement with TechND over the years (including recently moderating TechTalk panels and offering her insights to the Data Center Coalition of North Dakota), to her current role at Midco managing nuanced, large-scale government relations.”

After a momentary pause, Ambrose concluded with “(during this time) ...Kayla has been at the forefront in North Dakota of ushering in and utilizing technologies as they emerge.”
